The European AI Forum is an initiative launched in June 2020 on the last day of the Croatian Presidency in the Council of the European Union. The 6th edition of this event, produced in cooperation with nine national associations in the EU, took place online on December 15 from Brussels.
Intended as a conference taking place in the run-up to the end of each Council presidency, the European AI Forum has evolved into a network of associations aiming to ensure that startups and innovators from member states have a voice when it comes to building an AI regulatory framework.
Initiated by CroAI, Hub France IA and KI Bundesverband, the community has grown to include AI4SI, AI Austria, AI Cluster Bulgaria, NL AI Coalitie, and AI Poland. AI Association Lithuania joined them to organize this conference which brought together AI decision makers and entrepreneurs to discuss the most pressing issues driving the AI ecosystem.
Some of the key topics included discussions on the AI Act, data, EDIH, subsidies, and semiconductors.
