On April 5, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced the launch of the 8th edition of its start-up acceleration program to which some 50 companies responded. After a first selection in May, on June 9, it unveiled the twelve young innovative French companies that were selected during a panel of judges including HPE experts and partners, notably MINALOGIC, NVIDIA, Orange, INSEAD Alumni Business Angels, La FrenchTech in the Alps and MIAI Grenoble.
HPE's strategy has been built around innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. This program, launched in November 2014, aimed at young French companies over three years old, has already enabled more than 120 of them to benefit from personalized support to solve the problems they may encounter: building an offer, commercial structuring, scaling up, technology, marketing or communication. Common economic development objectives are then developed.
One year of personalized support
For one year, starting this month, the selected companies will benefit from - The support of a sponsor, a senior manager at HPE, with solid experience and a national and international network. Among them; Laurence Commandeur (HR business Manager and Labor Relation HPE France), Pierre Hoffer (Director EMEA Sales HPC & AI), Philippe Rase (Director Business Planning & Global Strategic Partnership) or Xavier Poisson (Vice President, Worldwide Service Providers business and Cloud28+); - HPE's internal and external ecosystem including experts, suppliers, prescribers, investors network, partners, national and international customers; - A connection with the HPE Labs, including those in Grenoble and Geneva, for the most innovative start-ups, allowing them to benefit from feedback from experts at the cutting edge of their respective fields; - They will also be able to participate in events alongside HPE, such as the recent World AI Cannes Forum or HPE Discover, The Edge-to-Cloud Conference, which will take place from June 28 to 30. The twelve selected young innovative companies
Odit-e is an innovative company offering decision support solutions dedicated to electricity distribution network managers. It relies on a detailed understanding of the functioning of electrical networks, combined with a solid mastery of artificial intelligence tools, in order to develop "Physics informed AI" algorithms . Its solutions leverage data from smart meters to support the energy transition in developed countries, by facilitating the insertion of renewable energy; and improve access to energy in developing countries, by predicting and reducing power outages. Logiroad is an independent deeptech startup, publisher of road asset analysis and management software. Thanks to its expertise in artificial intelligence, it offers massive data capture and analysis solutions for optimal road maintenance, thus significantly reducing the carbon impact of mobility. Through its AI research laboratory and an innovative partnership with the research community, it combines the latest advances in deep learning with the business expertise for which it is internationally recognized, offering high value-added products. HawAI.tech (Hardware for AI) designs hardware gas pedals to provide trustworthy, explainable, frugal and transparent artificial intelligence (AI). This new AI, based on probabilistic reasoning that meets current industry needs, requires dedicated hardware to run efficiently. Providing this hardware is the mission of HawAI.tech. The company is currently developing computational architectures running on FPGAs (reconfigurable circuitry) on which it aims for x40 energy efficiency (x20 faster while consuming x2 less power). Available from 2023, these architectures are particularly well suited for at the Edge applications. OWI facilitates exchanges between large enterprises and their customers, with certified ROIs between 30% and 200%. Thanks to an innovation in artificial intelligence on language understanding, it offers a virtual assistant (chatbot, callbot, mailbot) that provides:- Assistance for customers, on all written and vocal channels, and with ergonomics adapted to each use case,
