The fourth edition of the European AI Forum takes place this Thursday, December 16, 2021. The event aims to bring together policy makers and AI entrepreneurs to discuss the most pressing issues driving the AI ecosystem. AI4SI is in charge of the event which will be broadcast from Ljubljana. Several panels are organized on the day:
  • Panel 1: Glass-Steagall - How to deal with responsible biometric recognition
  • Panel 2: European Weaknesses in AI Progress
  • Panel 3: AI vs. AI - Is cybersecurity the new European AI frontier?
Many experts will intervene, including Françoise Soulié, Colonel Patrick Perrot, Maxime de Jabrun or Mariya Gabriel, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth. The European AI Forum is an initiative launched in June 2020 on the last day of the Croatian Presidency on the Council of the European Union. Initially planned as a conference taking place in view of the end of each Council Presidency, the European AI Forum has evolved into a network of associations wishing to ensure that startups and innovators from Member States have a voice when it comes to building a regulatory framework on AI. Founded by CroAI, Hub France IA and KI Bundesverband, this community has grown to include AI4SI, AI Austria, AI Cluster Bulgaria, NL AI Coalitie, AI Poland and Artificial Intelligence Association of Lithuania.
