NAIA.R returns for a second 3-day edition, organized from December 9 to 11, 2021, at Hangar 14 in Bordeaux. Artificial intelligence and robotics will be on the agenda of the event co-organized by Sud Ouest and SUEZ, with the support of the University of Bordeaux, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, Bordeaux Metropole and the Rectorat de Bordeaux.
The first edition NAIA 2019 had been a success and had gathered more than 1000 professionals of the AI sector on one day. Building on this success, the forum is back for a second edition in a 3-day format, including a day open to the general public, and the integration of Robotics in the program following the postponement of the Robocup to 2023.
Because AI induces many transformations in companies and implies an evolution of the professions and training required, Sud Ouest and SUEZ are co-organizing the event, with the support of the University of Bordeaux, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, Bordeaux Metropole and the Rectorat de Bordeaux. Local players in these sectors, including the Aquitaine Robotics and Digital Aquitaine clusters, are also joining the forum.
NAIA.R will be held over 3 days and will offer over 5,000 m2 of exhibition stands, demonstrations, professional meetings, workshops, round tables, a career guidance corridor and job dating. More than 60 conferences and workshops will be conducted by 100 speakers, including:
- Frederic Werner, Head of Strategic Engagement at the ITU (UN)
- Renault Vedel, Coordinator of the national AI strategy in France
- Camille Morvan, PhD in neuroscience and co-founder of Goshaba
- Guillaume Morel, Director of ISIR
- Jean-Paul Laumond, Research Director at CNRS
