Jean Senellart

Jean Senellart est diplômé de l’École Polytechnique et titulaire d’un Doctorat en Informatique Linguistique de l’Université de Paris VII. Chercheur, enseignant à l’École Polytechnique et à l’Université de Marne la Vallée, il a rejoint SYSTRAN en 1999 comme chef de projet.

Il a depuis pris la direction des équipes R&D pour lancer 4 générations de produits SYSTRAN dont IntuitiveCodingTM et Statistical Post Editing avant de passer Chief scientist. En 2014, Jean Senellart a été nommé Global CTO du groupe SYSTRAN et occupe, depuis juillet 2015, le poste de Président de SYSTRAN S.A.S. Sous son impulsion ont vu notamment le jour le moteur de traduction neuronal Pure Neural® MT (PNMT®) et le framework opensource et communauté OpenNMT.
