Les 3IA, ou Instituts Interdisciplinaires d'Intelligence Artificielle, sont des centres d'excellence en France qui se concentrent sur la recherche, l'enseignement et l'innovation dans le domaine de l'intelligence artificielle. Ils visent à rassembler des chercheurs, des enseignants et des entreprises pour développer des technologies d'IA avancées et pour former la prochaine génération de spécialistes de l'IA.

En France, quatre 3IA ont été créés, et non pas trois comme le suggère leur nom. Ces 4 3IA sont  :

• Institut PRAIRIE : PaRis Artificial Intelligence Research InstitutE qui est basé à Paris et a pour domaines d'expertise : la santé, les transports, l'environnement, etc.
• Institut ANITI : Artificial and Natural Intelligence Toulouse Institute basé à Toulouse et ayant pour domaines d'expertise les transports, l'environnement, l'aérospatial, etc.
• Institut 3IA Côte d’Azur situé à Nice - Sophia Antipolis et qui a pour domaines d'expertise : la santé, le développement durable, le numérique, etc.
• Institut MIAI : Multidisciplinary Institute in Artificial intelligence à Grenoble et ayant pour domaines d'expertise : la santé, l'environnement, l'énergie, la cybersécurité, etc.
