On the sidelines of the GPAI (Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence), the French Tech Grand Paris is organizing Paris AI Week: two weeks during which France is showcasing its artificial intelligence ecosystem by bringing together researchers, entrepreneurs and public decision-makers around new innovations in AI. Connecting and gathering the French AI ecosystem

In 2020, the French AI ecosystem represented 453 startups, multiple universities and research laboratories.

The French Tech Grand Paris is launching Paris AI Week on November 8: two weeks that bring together and connect the AI ecosystem in the Paris region, alongside the GPAI, which takes place in Paris on November 11 and 12. This first edition aims to highlight a network of artificial intelligence very well established in Ile-de-France (research centers, startups, scale-ups, large groups) and to promote exchanges on the challenges of European AI (environment, regulation, health, data, talent ...). Paris AI Week was created with the support of French Tech, France Digitale, French Tech Paris Saclay, namR, ActuIA, and Maddyness.

Lara Rouyrès, president of French Tech Grand Paris, and co-founder of Levia.ai, is delighted with the launch of such an initiative:

More than 10 events focused on artificial intelligence for this first edition

Paris AI Week will bring together a dozen events between November 8 and 19, both in person and digitally. A selection committee composed of experts such as Renaud Vedel (coordinator of the national strategy for artificial intelligence), Isabelle Ryl (director of PrAIrie), Gaëlle Pinson (director of the Hub France IA), and, Emmanuel Icart (board member of the French Tech Paris Saclay) ensures a coherent and complementary programming, to offer a complete panorama of the major challenges of the French AI.

Among the events not to be missed:

The France is AI Conference is the largest event dedicated to AI in France and bringing together nearly 1000 C-levels from around the world. The event will bring together at Station F the "golden triangle of AI": directors of major research labs, CIOs of large companies and CTOs of startups. The France is AI conference also offers the largest recruitment program for startups looking for highly skilled tech talent. Similarly, France Digitale connects large corporations (50% of which are CAC40) with AI and Data startups to help them in their digital transition.

  • November 19: Closing of Paris AI Week
The first edition of Paris AI Week will end at the Centre d'Intelligence Artificielle de la Sorbonne (SCAI). This is an opportunity to gather partners, event organizers and speakers for a networking event and a review of the Paris AI Week.
