Rémi Munos est titulaire d'un DEA en sciences cognitives à l’EHESS avant d'entamer un doctorat d’IA sur l’apprentissage par renforcement qu'il soutiendra en 1997. Directeur de recherche à l’Inria, il a également été membre du groupe de recherche SequeL. Rémi Munos est actuellement directeur du laboratoire de DeepMind à Paris après plusieurs années passées au sein de la structure.
