OpenAI est une entreprise spécialisée en intelligence artificielle, basée à San Francisco, et fondée en tant qu’association fin 2015 par Elon Musk et Sam Altman à l’aide d’un fonds initial de 100 millions de dollars. Son objectif est de promouvoir et développer des algorithmes IA afin d’en faire bénéficier toutes les populations, de leur permettre de gagner en autonomie et d’avoir un effet de “transformation” dans des domaines comme la santé, le changement climatique ou encore l’éducation.
