Tomorrow, it will seem natural, indispensable that an emotional robot help us in our daily tasks or keep us company. Our smartphones are as attached to us as if they were a digital cuddly toy. And like young children, we are often plunged into deep distress when we forget or lose it. As we know, these talking machines are not equipped with emotions, feelings, intentions, free will or desire.
These machines imitate us without feeling anything, they speak to us without understanding a word of what they say. And yet they fascinate us.
