“Prediction is the essence of intelligence” is often repeated by Yann LeCun, co-inventor.
from Deep Learning. Paradoxically, artificial intelligence is an area where
exalted predictions are abundant, beginning with that of the great Herbert Simon,
Nobel Laureate and co-inventor of the first AI, who predicted in 1965 that “the
machines will be able, within twenty years, to do all the work that a man can do.
do. »

From February 16 to April 9, 2021, Hypermind offers you the opportunity to measure your intelligence in
participating in a major forecasting competition on the progress of artificial intelligence in the United States.
by 2023.
This international competition, launched simultaneously in the United States and France, proposes 26
advanced questions, based on the state of the art, and covering several themes:

  • Hardware and supercomputing
  • Research Trends
  • Performance and benchmarks
  • Economic and financial impact

The competition is funded by the California NGO Open Philanthropy. The
Hypermind’s collective intelligence algorithms will aggregate all predictions into
collective predictions to be published in early April.
The best predictors will share a prize money of almost € 6,000 (or
