Soph.I.A Summit is looking for its next national and international speakers and is launching a call for submissions for its 4th edition from 17 to 20 November 2021

The 4th edition of the Soph.I.A Summit will be held from November 17 to 20, 2021 in Sophia Antipolis. Organized by the Université Côte d’Azur, the Communauté d’Agglomération de Sophia Antipolis and the Sophia Club Entreprises with the support of the Alpes Maritimes department, this annual international event will unveil the latest advances in the field of artificial intelligence and its applications.

The event will bring together French and international experts in Artificial Intelligence, both in its fundamentals and in its application in biology, health, mobility or intelligent territories, will present their work in conferences, debates, round tables or posters. They have until August 30, 2021 to submit their contributions.

High-level programs and experts

Researchers, academics, institutions and private companies from all over the world will have numerous opportunities to meet and exchange ideas both live in Sophia Antipolis and online.

The Soph.I.A. Summit 2021 will focus on the following five themes:

Developments in the fundamentals of AI

AI and health,

AI and biology,

AI and mobility,

AI and smart territory.

And two additional sessions:

AI and sustainable development (“sustainable AI”),

Relations between AI and management.

Terms of participation

Submissions must be written in English and can be work in progress, reviews or even contributions that have already been presented/published in other conferences. Each submission should include up to 6 keywords for classification purposes. All selected papers may be presented at the conference venue, or online via video conference.

Submissions for a paper should be in the form of an abstract of 4,000 characters (including spaces) with 3 to 5 bibliographic references. An appendix in PDF format (e.g., to provide a figure or image) may be added.

Poster submissions take the form of an abstract of 2,500 characters (including spaces) with 3 to 5 bibliographic references. An appendix in PDF format (e.g., to provide a figure or image) may be added to the submission. If the poster is selected for presentation, a 180s video will be requested later.

Demonstration submissions take the form of a 2,500 character (including spaces) abstract. Demonstrations of commercial AI tools will not be considered. The abstract must justify how the demonstrated AI tools apply to use cases that raise questions of public interest.
