The student associations ACES (student association of competitive entrepreneurial computing of Sorbonne University) and Sorbonne University SOphIA (student association of Artificial Intelligence) are organizing an Ecology hackathon that will take place in spring 2022. They are launching a call for participation in this challenge and are waiting for proposals on this theme. Forms can be submitted until January 15, 2022 and it is possible to propose several challenges.

The main theme is ECOLOGY.

The sub-themes are as follows:
-SYSTEMIC CHANGE: How can we encourage behaviors that enable systemic changes that promote climate protection?
– MITIGATION: How can we effectively counter fake news about climate change?
– CRISIS MANAGEMENT: How can measures developed in the context of different crises be adapted to achieve sustainable climate protection?
– BIG DATA: What possibilities does big data offer for overcoming environmental risks in connection with their geographical conditions?

The submitted challenge must be related to at least one sub-theme. Challenges that combine several sub-themes and/or add an ethical component will be favoured in the selection process.

In order to have each sub-theme represented at least once, four challenges will be selected by the hackathon organizers. Only one challenge will be selected per proposing entity.
