Three start-ups specializing in data and artificial intelligence are finalists for the LVMH Innovation Award

28 start-ups were selected for the fifth LVMH Innovation Award. Thanks to this prize dedicated to innovation, the finalists will accompany the French brand to The LVMH Gallery, a Lab & e-Lab at the Viva Technology trade show taking place from June 16 to 19, 2021. Three of these start-ups specialize in data and artificial intelligence: Suridata.ai, Data & Data and MyCelebs.

A prize dedicated to innovation in six areas

Every year since 2017, the French group LVMH has organized the LVMH Innovation Award, a prize dedicated to innovation. This year’s theme was “The Future of Customer Experience is here”. All the candidates presented their project related to this topic. Several hundred applications from around the world were received by LVMH.

In a first selection process, 28 start-ups were chosen to be the finalists who will accompany the French brand at Viva Technology. It is during this event that all of the selected projects will be able to present their solution to a large audience on site in Paris, but also online.

After this presentation, six start-ups will be selected. One for each of the competition categories: omnichannel & retail experience, media & brand awareness, data & artificial intelligence, operations & manufacturing excellence, employee experience and sustainability. The LVMH Innovation Award will be given to one of them.

3 projects related to data and artificial intelligence

The 28 start-ups that have been selected by LVMH come from twelve different countries, and 30% have been founded or co-founded by women. Here are the 3 projects related to data and artificial intelligence:

  • Data & Data: this start-up founded in 2012 helps companies specialized in leather goods, watches, perfumery, etc. The brand supports these groups in developing more effective strategies through the analysis of all their data and that of the competitive market.
  • MyCelebs: the company leverages AI to offer solutions to automate a brand’s services, but also to help them better manage their human resources or their budget.
  • Suridata.ai: Using machine learning, this start-up offers solutions to help companies protect their data, gain full control over it, and comply with privacy regulations (such as the RGPD).

One of them will be chosen to represent data and artificial intelligence in the competition, and could potentially win the grand prize of the LVMH Innovation Award. Here are all the innovative solutions selected by the luxury brand in the other 5 categories:

  • Omnichannel & retail experience: Actronika , Bambuser, Booxi, Chatail, iStaging, Levita Magic, OppenFuture, Ordre, Poloriz, Threekit, Unmatereality
