Sopra Steria and IBM announce the launch of the Sopra Steria Alive Intelligence offer in France

At the end of March, Sopra Steria and IBM announced the launch of the Sopra Steria Alive Intelligence (SSAI) offering. The new artificial intelligence services that make up this offer will be hosted, operated and secured in France for companies and public bodies throughout Europe and will be available on Sopra Steria’s “Trusted Digital Platform”.

Sopra Steria, which was created by the merger of Sopra and Steria in 2015, has 40,000 employees in nearly 30 countries. It has become one of Europe’s leading tech companies through its consulting, digital services and software publishing activities.

The Sopra Steria Alive Intelligence offer: a conversational agent

The Sopra Steria Alive Intelligence (SSAI) solution is powered by IBM Watson Assistant, a virtual agent that can be customized for all domains, and relies on natural language (NLP), deep learning and semantic analysis to provide information. This information is used to improve decision-making and develop new services adapted to the expectations of customers and users, while allowing business teams to focus on higher value-added tasks.

Sopra Steria Alive Intelligence consists of a SaaS platform available on Sopra Steria’s Trusted Digital Platform that enables :

  • Quickly implement a digital assistant;
  • Generate complex dialogues in your natural language;
  • Make the company’s knowledge and expertise available to everyone;
  • Interconnect the company’s ecosystem via API while remaining RGPD compliant.

It also allows to :

  • Automate up to 80% of activities;
  • Generate up to 50% cost savings;
  • Increase customer satisfaction;
  • Relieve teams.

A hybrid cloud approach

The Alive Intelligence solution is available on Sopra Steria’s “Trusted Digital Platform”, built with Red Hat OpenStack.

As a reminder, IBM had acquired Red Hat in July 2019 for $34 billion, positioning it as the leading hybrid cloud provider.

This collaboration provides the agility and scalability needed to modernize applications and accelerate digital transformation, while ensuring that the platform complies with strict data protection requirements in France.

These new high-value AI services leverage the expertise of each partner:

– Sopra Steria, to support its customers in their digital transformation, is notably addressing the challenges related to the introduction of AI in their organization with the objectives of increasing the quality of services offered, improving the organization’s performance and optimizing operating costs.

– IBM, which focuses on two of the key technologies for digital transformation: hybrid cloud and AI. As a result of the Red Hat acquisition, IBM is uniquely positioned to help customers address data sovereignty challenges and will continue to leverage Red Hat OpenShift as a leading platform to meet their business needs. Its containerized software can be deployed anywhere, locally, in a public or private cloud.
