These innovations are dedicated to several key sectors such as healthcare, the public sector, the automotive industry and public transport.

A partnership of more than a year that continues with the desire to design new solutions

Since March 2020 and the start of their partnership, T-Systems and Google Cloud have been working together to provide solutions and managed services to help enterprises and public institutions engage in their cloud transformation. By uniting Google’s cloud skills with T-Systems’ telecom skills, the two organizations combine Google’s leading data solutions and portfolio of vertical offerings with T-Systems’ solutions, deep expertise and understanding of customer needs in strategic areas.

The status as a Google Cloud Certified Managed Service Provider enables T-Systems to deliver secure and future-proof Google Cloud solutions. Going forward, the shared goal will be to further increase their customers’ profitability on a large scale, solving their biggest challenges in their respective industries, to drive business transformation through innovation and data literacy.

The importance of artificial intelligence and machine learning for innovative solutions

Both entities are keen to leverage the full benefits of artificial intelligence and more specifically machine learning in designing new solutions. Adel Al-Saleh, Member of the Board of Directors of Deutsche Telekom and Chairman and CEO of T-Systems, speaks on the subject:

“The partnership with Google Cloud fits perfectly with our strategy. The integration of Google Cloud’s cutting-edge capabilities, especially AI/ML, with our solutions and industry-specific know-how will bring significant value to our customers. Also, while we are currently focused on the public, healthcare, automotive and mass transit sectors, over time we will be able to expand into other industries.”

Thomas Kurian, President and CEO of Google Cloud, adds:

“We are excited to combine T-Systems’ industry expertise and consulting experience with our leading capabilities in AI/ML, data analytics, etc., to solve critical problems for our customers. These are looking for a partner to not only perform a ‘lift and shift’ from applications to the cloud, but also to help them digitally transform – that’s what this partnership with T-Systems will bring to the industry.”
