A trade show that is gaining in prestige

The second edition of Big Data & AI World Paris will be held over two days, from 23 to 24 November 2021. In 2019, more than 9100 visitors attended the event in person, 51% of whom invested in the solutions offered by the exhibitors and 79% of whom were decision-makers in the act of purchasing. Several exhibitors had already decided to attend the 2021 edition, including Coralie Belaval, Partner Marketing Advisor, MICROSOFT, an exhibitor at the previous show, who declared:

“We didn’t expect such a big show so we were pleasantly surprised. In terms of attendance we are also very happy, because there are a lot of people. […] I think that a show like this is essential because it allows us to bring together a lot of important players in this field […] We’re considering coming back next year depending on our budgets for the year, but we’re thinking about it.

Malak Basri, Field Marketing EMEA Manager, SINEQUA, said:

“We had already done the Big Data World show in London 2,3 years ago and as a result we wanted to attend the launch of Big Data World Paris to see what it would be like. We met some interesting people […] There are different boxes that are quite inspiring. Doing trade shows is a way to harvest new leads and create contacts.”

On the visitors’ side, the quality of the show is also highlighted. Sylvain Vigneau, eSourcing Manager, MACIF, indicated at the exit of the previous edition:

“I came to the show to meet new suppliers and to keep up to date with the market. I managed to get one or two contacts with whom I plan to work in the future, so that’s positive. The conference programme was also interesting and very varied. It’s a good way to meet new suppliers. Attending the show is positive for meeting industry players. I will likely return next year!”

Benoît Chéroux, Data, BI & MDM Program Manager, CHANEL, also explained:

“We came to do technology watch mainly and get feedback. It’s my first time at the show, it’s pretty good, it’s quite dense, and there are a lot of offers […] it’s interesting to see a lot of players on the Big Data side. I attended two keynotes. It’s very likely that I’ll be back next year.”

The show is organised by CloserStill Media, a specialist in trade shows in the health and technology sectors. With events in London, Paris, Berlin, Frankfurt, New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, Orlando, Hong Kong and Singapore, CloserStill Media is one of the most award-winning event organisers, including London Vet Show, New York Vet, DevLearn, Learning Technologies, Cloud Expo Europe, Data Centre World, Pharmacy Show and The Dentistry Show.
