Atos and HarfangLab signed a partnership agreement at the International Cybersecurity Forum 2022 (FIC) in Lille in early June. Atos intends to strengthen its offer of sovereign hosted managed cybersecurity services, respectful of French laws and carried out in France, thanks to HarfangLab’s EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response) software, the only one to have been certified by the ANSSI, the French National Agency for Information Systems Security.

Founded in 2018 by Grégoire Germain, a former naval officer and Director of Cyberdefense at Thalès, HarfangLab, has more than 50 employees, 6 R&D divisions (AI, Front-End, Back-End, Dev-Ops, CTI and Agent), is based in Paris, at the Village by CA, the start-up gas pedal created by Crédit Agricole in 2014. Its mission is to “Protect organizations while preserving their digital integrity.”

In 2021, the company raised €5 million, including €3.5 from Elaia Partners. In addition, it was one of the winning SMEs in the Grand Défi Cybersecurity and received an €830,000 grant for its Open XDR Platform project, a platform that aims to create connections between EDR and other products.

Strengthening Atos’ cybersecurity offerings with HarfangLab’s EDR

Atos, one of the world’s largest NSEs, is committed to providing secure digital solutions to its customers. Its Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solution and AI platform “Alsaac”, a cloud-native solution with hybrid and multi-cloud support, provide threat intelligence, detection and blocking, incident analysis and response, and thus combat cyberattacks and ransomware.

HarfangLab’s EDR complies with EU legislation and regulations and has been awarded the ” Cybersecurity Made in Europe ” label by ECSO, the European cybersecurity organization. It has been certified CSPN (Certification de Sécurité de Premier Niveau) by the ANSSI, while Atos services are qualified PASSI (Prestataire d’Audit de la Sécurité des Systèmes d’Information) and PDIS (Prestataire de Détection des Incidents de Sécurité).

The HarfangLab EDR can be integrated into existing customer solutions and deployed in the public or private cloud. In the cloud configuration, Atos and HarfangLab will leverage the Atos Cloud offering and the Atos OneCloud Sovereign Shield, an ecosystem of edge-to-cloud platforms, ” to meet the highest levels of control over the data produced and exchanged and the specific territorial legal requirements of customers.”

Both Atos and HarfangLab are members of the Cyber Campus, initiated by Emmanuel Macron in 2019 and inaugurated on February 15 by Bruno Lemaire. It aims to bring together national and international cybersecurity players in a single location and develop synergies between large groups and SMEs, government services, training organizations, research players and associations.

Jérôme Moreau, Director of cybersecurity activities, Atos France, states:

“Our globally recognized skills in managed security services and our active participation in this innovative place for digital security in France that is the Cyber Campus have very quickly generated commercial synergies, but also partnerships. It was a natural step for us to join forces with HarfangLab, a cyber nugget in the essential field of EDR .

Grégoire Germain, CEO and founder of HarfangLab, concludes:

“We are proud to have been selected by Atos. The recognition of HarfangLab’s BDU by its experts allows us to offer together a state-of-the-art sovereign solution for cyber defense. Atos and HarfangLab thus offer an answer to the security constraints of all fields of activity, including the most demanding ones such as critical industries and essential services. We see this first collaboration between two cyber campus players as a way to take French cyber excellence beyond our borders.
