A competition organized by Euratechnologies to innovate around deeptechs and space

From June 28 to July 2, the start-up accelerator Euratechnologies will organize a special DeepTech and aerospace hackathon. Participants will have to find the best start-up idea to innovate in these two fields. Satellite geolocation, data processing, weather data, precision data, satellite communication, etc. All of these themes can be addressed during the competition.

A competition to design a start-up in four days

On June 28, 2021, participants will be divided into several teams and will have to find the best start-up idea and design an innovative project around space and DeepTech. During four days, they will try to complete this mission and then convince the jury during a pitch session. The three most convincing projects will defend their project on the big stage of the Gare Saint-Sauveur during the Summer Space Festival.

Throughout the hackathon, the entrepreneurs will receive advice from professionals from the European Space Agency (ESA), companies and mentors from Euratechnologies on the business side of their start-up. At the same time, experts from the aerospace world will talk about their missions and innovations related to their field.

An ambitious program, from workshops to the final pitch

The best projects will be able to join the EuraTechnologies incubation program and launch their project. It will also be possible to win training and coaching from the start-up accelerator’s partners. Students, entrepreneurs, employees, space enthusiasts… All budding project leaders will be welcome to find and test their idea with aerospace professionals.

The hackathon program is as follows:

  • June 28: Ideation, workshop on the problematic
  • June 29: Workshops on the market, the targets, the competition
  • July 1: Discussions on the business model
  • July 2: Preparation for the pitch

It is still possible to register on this site.
